About Me
Hi! My name is Hannah. I grew up in small-town Wyoming tucked into the beautiful Bighorn Mountains. My whole life, I’ve been in love with all things nature, and my artwork reflects that.
I began drawing when I was in 5th grade and fell in love with creativity. Throughout middle school, my mother, Nancy, noticed that I was working hard to improve my artistic abilities, and immediately became my number one supporter. She signed me up for some private painting lessons with a local artist, Sonja Caywood, as well as group painting classes. She’s always been willing to buy any art supplies I needed to continue my craft. Even now, as an almost 30-year-old: if I ask for paint or canvases for Christmas, she doesn’t even hesitate.
Throughout high school, my love for painting only grew. I began teaching some “paint and sip” classes, selling artwork to locals, and had a few displayed at a local art gallery.
I took a break from painting for several years after high school while I studied classical piano in college, got married, and became a mom. The last three years, I have rediscovered my love for art and I spend most of my free time in my art room creating with my 3-year-old daughter. One of my greatest joys in life is sharing this space with her and teaching her about my passion for art.
In my works, you will find vibrant colors, thick textures, fun florals, and everything inspired by my life in the Bighorn Mountains! From fluffy clouds, to whimsical mountain landscapes, to wildflowers!
